The Northern Sydney General Practice Network (NSGPN) is a not for profit association that provides support and education to General Practice. The Network was incorporated on 7 December 1993.
As one of 33 Divisions of General Practice in NSW and 110 DivisionsAustralia-wide, we are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA) and we contribute to General Practitioner participation in health planning and policy development, identifying and targeting population health priorities at a local level, improving the coordination of health services in the community and improving the quality of general practice.
In the Network area, over 350 GPs work in 78 practices in the local council areas of Mosman, North Sydney, Lane Cove, Willoughby and a part of Hornsby Ku-ring-gai [map]. The population of this area is 222,596. For the health status of the area, click here.
NSGPN welcomes membership from General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Practice Managers, Physiotherapists, Dietitians and Psychologists from within and beyond the Network area.
Mission: Better health in our community by supporting general practitioners and their practices.
